About Selam.AI
Selam.AI is an interactive AI kiosk platform, real-time multilingual avatars that let enterprise venues replace menu-driven touch-screens with voice-first conversation. The same kiosk answers a passenger in Arabic and a transit traveler in Mandarin, in under one second, without anyone opening a phone or tapping a menu.
What we do
We build the full conversational-kiosk stack: real-time speech-to-text, a tightly scoped retrieval-augmented LLM, lifelike avatar synthesis, and low-latency text-to-speech, delivered as either a managed platform or a fully on-premises installation inside the customer's own network. Enterprises use us when a touchscreen isn't enough: busy terminals, language-diverse visitors, and venues where uptime and data residency matter.
Every AI kiosk on the platform is configurable per venue, knowledge base, avatar, voice, allowed scope. Our Guardrail Mode keeps the agent strictly inside that scope, so hospital kiosks stay non-clinical and airport kiosks stay factual about flight information.

What makes the platform different
- Sub-second voice-to-voice latency. Speech in, avatar reply out, under one second under typical load, the threshold below which conversation feels natural.
- 30+ languages at parity quality. Not English-first with translations bolted on; the same recognition, reasoning, and synthesis quality in every supported language.
- On-premises deployment. LLM, STT, TTS all run inside the customer network. Air-gapped installations supported for the strictest compliance regimes (EMAAR is one of these).
- Guardrail Mode. Enforces a per-venue knowledge scope. Prevents hallucinations and prompt-injection from pushing the agent outside its configured role.
- Purpose-built for public venues. AI noise cancellation tuned for airport terminals and mall atriums, not repurposed from call-center stacks.
